Hunt Community is a 501c3 not for profit community which is part of the Hunt Holding Corporation. It is managed by a competent management team and a dedicated Board of Trustees.
Yes. New Residents are expected to move into Hunt Community when they are healthy and able to maintain independent lifestyles.
Hunt Community offers a Traditional Plan with an amortizing entrance fee and monthly service fee. Please contact the Marketing Department for more details.
Yes. We offer assigned parking and do our best to provide you with a reserved space near your apartment. In addition our maintenance will provide snow removal for your car in the winter months.
Hunt Community does provide scheduled transportation to local malls, grocery stores, museums and restaurants. In addition, for a nominal fee, private transportation to local physician offices can be arranged. We are also located in close proximity to a stop on the Nashua City Bus Line.
Yes. However, if you are from out of state we will suggest some local physicians to you. We are located 2 miles from both Southern New Hampshire Regional Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Yes. We love to have guests at Hunt Community. They are more than welcome to stay with you in your apartment or in our guest room suite. Guest meal tickets are available at nominal fees.
Yes. Each apartment has individual controls for air conditioning and heat.
Our Floor Hostess Committee and Marketing Department will arrange for dinner hosts for the first few days after you move in. They will show you around, introduce you to your new neighbors and welcome you to Hunt Community.
Our maintenance staff is available to assist you. Requests are handled promptly and professionally.
Our “in-house” television station Channel 10 will remind you of upcoming events. Our full-time Activity Director also provides a monthly newsletter.
Our Residents volunteer their time to work in areas at Hunt Community such as our Library, Activities, Marketing, Gardening and Healthcare Center. Our full time Volunteer Director is available to discuss opportunities with you.
No. Residents are encouraged to meet other people. Our hostess is available in the main dining room to seat and introduce you to others.
Yes. Each resident is given a storage unit within the building.
Yes. The maintenance department will stop by the day you move in to connect the cable to your TV, which is included in your monthly service fee. We offer Expanded Basic Cable which consists of over 30 channels.
You will receive a Hunt Community Resident Handbook that is an easy reference guide. Everything you will need to know will be in the book. In addition an Orientation will be arranged shortly after your move in. Our staff will be happy to assist in every way they can.
Yes. You must be independent to move in to Hunt Community and meet both financial and health requirements to qualify.
Hunt Community is a non-smoking community. In addition pets are welcome to visit but are not permitted to reside at the community.
